Mr Richard Moore graduated from the prestigious University of Cambridge and is a highly experienced Specialist Breast, General and Emergency Surgeon, with particular expertise in the treatment of breast cancer including cutting-edge immediate prepectoral breast reconstruction with skin and nipple sparing mastectomy, breast reduction and breast uplift procedures, in the presence of breast cancer and benign conditions.
Richard is recognised as a Surgical Specialist in both Australia and the UK. He performs the latest and scientifically validated highly specialised techniques – Oncoplastic Breast Surgery and Extreme Therapeutic Mammoplasty, and offers a range of creative and bespoke cutting edge advances in breast cancer surgery. He performed the first newly established technique of partial breast reconstruction in regional Victoria. He also offers specialised non-tumour related breast surgery, including Breast Lift following Weight Loss (Mastopexy), Breast Reduction, and Breast Symmetrisation procedures for developmental discrepancies in breast size. Richard is also a very experienced specialist elective and emergency general surgeon.
His areas of particular expertise and interest are in general and gastrointestinal surgery include laparoscopic cholecystectomy, hernia repair and abdominoplasty.
He is committed to the super-specialised comprehensive clinic model of breast cancer assessment conducted at PIMS, where the entire evaluation is performed ‘in house’ by a complete and expert multidisciplinary team.
Mr Moore consults at a variety of locations with Precision Integrated Medical Specialists, including our Kew, Caulfield North, North Melbourne, Doncaster East and Werribee locations.
